The white rum of Mates offers a unique blend of different types of rum from Barbados, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. In addition, more than half of the blend consists of a 3-year-old rum from Trinidad.
Mates XO brings together two great 8-year-old rums from Barbados and the Dominican Republic. We have combined these two spirits with 5-to 8-year-old rum from Nicaragua to create the Mates XO. Since this rum is sugar- and additive-free, it is an excellent one to drink neat or on the rocks.
