CARIBBEAN MEETS SOUTH AMERICA
Mates XO brings together two great 8-year-old rums from Barbados and the Dominican Republic. We have combined these two celebrated spirits with our 5- to 8-year-old rum from Nicaragua to create the Mates XO.
All three countries are famous for their unique traditions of fermentation, distillation, and ageing. We have blend these specific countries to create a wonderful Caribbean base with a South American touch. This makes the Rum nice and round and offers you a buttery feeling. Not to high in ABV to give you even more smooth pleasure.

FAQ - XO RUM
Rum is made from three ingredients: Molasse & cane juice from sugarcane, yeast and water. All the ingredients are fermented and distilled, aged, filtered and blended.
The Rum is blended with different styles which offers a natural sweet blend. In Mates Rum there is no added sugar. The sweet taste is purely from the ex-Bourbon oak wood cask.
The Gold Rum is younger compared to the XO Rum. Both offer a variety of profile. Nevertheless, the gold offers funky and exotic tones whereas the XO proves its smooth, sweet and round profiles from the Ex-bourbon casks.
